About Preflight

Preflight is deterministic document quality-control for the teams that print and mail at scale — print service providers, mail houses, in-plant shops, and regulated-document teams. It catches structural and compliance errors in print-ready files before they reach a press or the mailstream, where mistakes are expensive.

What it does

Upload a PDF, AFP, PCL, PostScript, or IPDS file and get a structural scorecard in seconds — no signup for a first look. Paid workspaces add compliance modules: USPS mailing (Intelligent Mail barcode, presort, Move-Update), Accessibility (PDF/UA, WCAG contrast), Brand (template, logo, and color conformance), and Print-production (PDF/X, ink coverage, bleed).

How we think about it

Every finding is evidence-grade: deterministic checks with a versioned rule trail, so results are reproducible and explainable. Where AI assists, it is paired with a deterministic verification step — never a guess presented as fact.
