Brand / Template Compliance Checker
Check PDFs against an approved brand baseline — layout, color, and disclosures.
FAQ
How does color-palette checking work?
Each vector color in the candidate is compared to the nearest approved color by ΔE2000 (CIEDE2000) and flagged when it exceeds that color’s tolerance (default 5). Vector/text color deviations are deterministic; raster image colors are supplementary and capped at a warning.
How are disclosures checked?
Mandatory disclosure blocks are matched by normalized edit distance after stripping declared variable tokens (dates, account numbers), so variable-data substitution doesn’t trip the check. Missing or modified disclosures are deterministic, critical findings; an opt-in AI assist only reviews near-threshold cases as advisory.
Does it replace brand approval?
No — Preflight is a checker. It is brand/template compliance evidence against a baseline you register, for your audit trail, not a brand-approval ruling.
Can I export results for governance?
Yes — download a canonical compliance summary with per-family counts, the baseline id/version, the rule version, and a sha256 tamper hash so the artifact is verifiable.
